L’Ancienne Sellerie
L’Ancienne Sellerie is a stunning spacious terraced house over three floors with flexible accommodation. Awarded three stars by Gites de France. It is available for lets throughout the year for a minimum of a month. Three month lets preferred in winter It is the ideal location for experiencing life in a very friendly picturesque French village with good amenities and a thriving community life. Plenty of room for family and friends to visit. Within easy reach of the lovely village of Lagrasse (15 mins) Carcassonne (25 mins) and Narbonne (50mins)
It has four double bedrooms and three shower rooms, lounge, dining room/ kitchen, roof terrace on first floor with double doors from lounge and garage.
Floor space 124 m². All rooms have large double glazed windows with roll down blinds and decorative wooden shutters except the the original double doors to the roof terrace from the lounge Oil central heating throughout (new central heating boiler fitted July 2019) and wood burning stove. Excellent fibre optic wifi throughout, two TVs. Small utility room with washing machine. Tumble dryer and extra fridge/freezer in garage

On the ground floor there is entrance hall and doors to kitchen and dining-room. Réversible air conditioning (fitted 2019) in large lounge / diner providing warmth in winter as well as air cooling in summer
• large lounge / diner with reclaimed pine refectory table, chairs and dresser, new wood burning stove, bookcase, and lounge area with 40 inch flat screen TV, DVD and comfortable seating. Arch in exposed stone to staircase to first floor.

• the Stables lounge (after which the house is named!) which is ideal for relaxing and opens with sliding doors on one side onto a small inner courtyard (with log store ) and on the other onto the large split level terrace with garden furniture and a view of the hills behind
• well equipped fitted kitchen (including oven, hob, new dishwasher (2021), and freestanding fridge/freezer, microwave and walk-in pantry);
• small laundry room with washing machine (new 2021) stone sink, iron and ironing board. Tumble dryer for long term renters' use in garage (which is not accessible for your car which can be parked in the drive inside the gates or in the village)

On the first floor :-
• Four double bedrooms two of which have double beds (one is king size) , and two each have two single beds (beds can be stacked in the smaller twin to give single bed and more floor space).
• The fully tiled main bathroom has a new (2021) walk-in Italian shower, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail.
• Two of the bedrooms, one double and the smaller of the twin bedrooms which doesn't have a window) , are interconnecting (ideal as a family suite) with a window door between them , an ensuite shwer room with washbasin, heated towel rail and WC, and a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard with table and chairs.
